After SpaceX IPO, Musk is now a trillionaire. Watch out... Language of the Poor (LOP) is coming!
Bring out the pitchforks... LOP is PISSED...
I’ve been creating content on money, wealth, and mindset consistently, so I don’t even need to look to know what the general public thinks about Musk becoming a trillionaire after the recent IPO.
Predictably, they’re big mad.
The comments on my LOP tiktoks exposed one running theme that my book on the subject will talk about:
The unrelenting hate on those who build wealth, specifically targeting the millionaire, billionaire class.
It’s no surprise that now trillionaires are starting to appear, they’re even madder than before.
In fact, so many LOP want communism because they literally believe that billionaires shouldn’t exist.
What was surprising* to me were these comments on the article about a Mexican immigrant welder making $60k who now is a millionaire thanks to SpaceX IPOing:
*maybe it’s because people who have time to comment on yahoo news lean right
A few themes stood out to me in the comments:
LOP speakers like J.D. in this example, are completely salty that they never got this opportunity, thus they minimize/poo-poo a life changing sum that unequivocally will change the man’s entire family of 4.
How many average Americans a day could only WISH to have his outcome?
JD obviously is one of them.
And because he didn’t and he can’t, he calls the grapes sour. CLASSIC LOP move.
Funny enough, Lijuan calls out this EXACT phenomenon, which brings me to my next point:
Many who lean left are out of touch with basic financial principles. This is why the right managed to gain so much political power.
As a socially left leaning person, I do not connect at all with how insane leftists sound when they demand communism and demonize anyone who’s created something society deems economically valuable.
When they come after landlords calling us leeches, harkening and romanticizing communist leaders, they show their complete lack of knowledge and indulgent privilege, having never lived through true communist times and societal structures like what I’ve seen my parents and grandparents living through.
Here’s the bottom line:
You don’t have to be a billionaire nerd.
You don’t have to worship them.
You don’t even have to like them.
But as a student of wealth and a pursuer of wealth, I enjoy billionaires and the opportunities they provide REGULAR people to profit either through labor (like in this case), through investing opportunities, or through the actual business services they provide to entrepreneurs like myself.
They create businesses that I pay attention to, either from a usage or investment perspective.
As I always say, without Walmart, Amazon Prime, and Wayfair, I would NEVER be able to sustain my airbnbs in far away lands.
Shoot… Without the platform airbnb existing, regular folks like me would never have had such easy entry into something that previously only something the rich could play in (vacation rentals).
That’s the value of billionaires/trillionaires.
They create systems and things that do indeed TRICKLE down (YES I SAID IT):
BUT ONLY TO THOSE PARTICIPATING IN CREATION, not consumption.
So, stop hating the billionaire class. It’s largely a futile effort that results in nothing at all productive happening in your life.
It just makes you sound lame, like that JD guy.
Instead:
Start making money off of billionaires.
This is how the rich always get richer. What are your thoughts?
